Lamont and Fred, at Lamont's insistence, take advantage of the free tests offered by a Breathmobile. The results convince Fred that he has tuberculosis.
Fred covers his clumsiness by proclaiming 'we were robbed' and he turns into a boastful hero cited for bravery. But Lamont finds the shattered remains of his prized porcelain and glass collection and decides to teach his father a lesson.
