El privilegio de amar follows Luciana, a successful fashion designer who is haunted by the decision she made as a young maid to abandon her daughter, Cristina, following a forbidden affair with a seminary student. Two decades later, an adult Cristina enters Luciana's fashion house to pursue a modeling career, leading to a volatile relationship where neither is aware of their biological bond. As Cristina falls in love with Luciana's stepson, Víctor Manuel, and faces sabotage from rivals, the story culminates in the eventual discovery of her true parentage and Luciana's quest for redemption.
